Calling all writers, poets, artists, and photographers! Janus wants to see your work!

If you didn’t know, Westminster has its very own literary magazine named Janus. The journal is run by a team of students under the advisory and support of Dr. Jeremy Reed. Our 59th issue will be released this Spring, where every student has the opportunity to submit their work and become an official published author.

But, before you can get your work published, you may be wondering: What kinds of things can I submit to Janus?

Janus publishes poetry pieces, fiction and non-fiction prose, and visual art or photography! When submitting, word documents work the best and all submissions can be sent to janusmagwc@gmail.com. Don’t forget, you can event submit in multiple genres! Specific submission guidelines can be found at www.januswestminster.com/submissions.

You may also ask yourself, what exactly are Janus editors looking for? How can I increase my chances of getting published?

For this issue, editors are looking for authentic, unique, fresh pieces to represent Westminster and its students. We have a diverse, lively campus and we hope to reflect this in the issue. If you have a poem, short story, or art that you’re proud of, we would love the chance to read it and potentially include it in the magazine! Give yourself a chance!

Submissions are open until March 1st, submit while you still can!
